The richest person recently in the world, Elon Musk has stepped forward to support Ukraine.
As the war crisis expand most people from many countries have donated aid to Ukraine. However, this time billionaire Elon did it in a different way. “Starlink” the famous satellite internet constellation operated by SpaceX provided Ukraine to access Starlink satellite internet service.
Starlink is operated by Elon Musk’s space manufacturing SpaceX. However, this decision was made after a direct request from Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Yesterday Elon Musk tweeted “Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route”. This was Elon’s reply to the Vice Prime Minister’s request on Twitter.
Furthermore, SpaceX and Elon stated the company will send Ukrainians the required equipment to use SpaceX Starlink services. Starlink provides internet via satellites, especially low orbit satellites which will provide high-speed broadband internet.
In case of that activating access to the network, it will be required an installation of a Special antenna and modem. All these facilities will be aided by SpaceX to Ukraine.
After Elon’s reply, many Ukrainian officials thank him. The country’s official Twitter account also responded to Mr. Musk’s action.
Since the Russian invasion started Russian army is still moving forward on Ukrainian soil. Civilians are hidden and covered in metros and underground bunkers. All the bank activities have failed.
Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency was the most successful and sufficient way to aid the Ukrainian people. Even though Ukraine’s government asked for aid all over the world via Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
So recently Elon has kept his words… Ukraine’s Vice president tweeted a few minutes ago that they have received Starlink equipment just now.
Yesterday Ukraine had already received nearly $4.5 Million worth of Bitcoin. Most of these are used to buy military equipment and health equipment. Joining the aid forces one of the largest Cryptocurrency exchanges Binance is looking forward to donating $10 million to Ukraine.
As they officially tweeted it they stated their focus is to provide on-the-ground support through charity and collaboration. The donations will be divided between nonprofit organizations like UNICEF, UNHCR, and UN Refugee Agency.
At a press release, Binance officially stated that they have already collected $6 million BNB. Furthermore, Binance has launched a crypto-first crowdfunding site- Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund as emergency funds to collect more aid. Here people all around the world can donate Cryptocurrency to provide food, fuel, and many other emergency supplies for refugees and refugee camps.
